Years ago, Glenn W. Turner turned the phrase "Dare To Be Great!" into a national passion. Now, with that same passion, another individual is embarking on an anti-drug crusade encouraging people to teach their children the truth about drugs and turn them into Kids Against Drugs. Now we parents can teach the whole truth about the illegal use of prescription and recreational drugs and give our kids the life-saving skills and techniques they need so they will choose to live drug-free lifestyles."
Michael (Mick) Meredith is an author,
public speaker and publisher
writing and speaking about family issues.
He first received national recognition when he introduced his publication, "'Identi-Child" in 1982 and was featured on the program, "Good Morning America" in
January of 1983. He was instrumental in the nationwide promotion of
fingerprinting and teaching self-protection skills to children.
He is a drug prevention coach and believes: "Parents teaching their own kids the truth with the information, tools and techniques found within the Kids Against Drugs 52-week "Family Action Training System" is the ultimate anti-drug message. As a result, parents can teach their own kids to choose to live drug-free lifestyles."
Meredith has traveled the US from coast to coast for
more than 25 years speaking
to hundreds of church and parent groups about protecting families and children
from neglect and abuse. He has been a guest on numerous radio and television programs and
many national magazine and newspaper articles about these subjects frequently
mentioned him and the family educational materials he
provides.
In the late 1980’s, Meredith developed unique slogans and artwork to help kids say no to drugs the easy way. He became aware of the enormity of the "drug problem" while he served 3 years on the board of directors of the non-profit "Odyssey Institute International", a network of non-profit drug treatment centers then headquartered in Bridgeport, CT. Since that time, he has developed and authored family educational programs and copyrighted more than 20 slogans and art designs against drug use and abuse.
Now with the power of the Internet, Meredith has launched the Kids Against Drugs Network, LLC which will target the home with his exclusive 52-week digital "Family Action Training System".
This unique program is specifically designed for concerned parents, clergy, teachers and others who may find it difficult to talk to kids about the drug issue. He believes the power and the
strength of the traditional family organization is the single most important
element in educating children about, and protecting them from, illegal prescription and recreational
drug and alcohol use and abuse.
The mission of the Kids Against Drugs Network, LLC is to: (1) Provide families with quality educational products and programs about drugs; (2) To educate, encourage, motivate and support family members so they won't use recreational drugs; (3) To find and encourage one million families to teach their children about illegal drug use using the Family Action Training System; and, (4) To show them how to make their homes and neighborhoods safe, drug-free zones.

Mr. Meredith is an active church member, the father of 6 children and has 7 grandchildren.
Kids Against Drugs is a program of Kids Against Drugs Network, LLC, which is a private organization. The company presently has a small staff of less than 10.
The Kids Against Drugs Network, LLC is supported solely by the sales and subscriptions of it's products and programs. Individual and corporate sponsors are also being solicited. Direct government grants and aid packages are not solicited or accepted.
