Kids and Drugs Don’t Mix

Today, it’s widely believed kids and drugs don’t mix. Drug abuse and addiction affects kids and everyone else. 90% or more of the homes in the world are affected by drug use and addiction in one way or another. Most young people are offered drugs often. They have to make the choice to use or not use.

There are many drugs of addiction.

Besides themselves, everyone knows somebody who is addicted to drug use. It could be a relative who is involved, or they know someone else who is also involved with it, including their kids, their parents, and their cousins. The connections of one who knows is using recreational drugs goes on and on spreading out in every direction.

Every drug user tried drugs for the first time. Aside from extreme highs on the first use, coupled with the excitement of using drugs, everyone knows drug use can be dangerous. Kids need to understand drug use and addiction is a real dangerous long-term downer to them. Whether they become addicted or not drug use affects them for a life-time.

Recreational Drug use and addiction hurts, it does damage to your brain, your body, your creditability and reputation. It destroys your will and ability to hold a responsible job and/or career. Drug use can kill you. It is a danger to all addicts and their families, even to your spouse, child, brother or sister.

Drug use and addiction can happen to anyone, it doesn’t go away, and right now it’s an epidemic. If your child is not already using or is not addicted to drugs then they are the drug dealers prime target.

Think about this, if YOU don’t teach your children about drug-prevention, THEN WHO IS? Is someone else going to teach your kids what you want them to know?  Do they have the same care and concern for your child as you do?

Todays parents, most knowing kids and drugs don’t mix, must arm and prepare their children about personal safety. Concerning drug issues, teaching your kids the truth about drugs. You and your kids have to talk through this in a reasonable way at home.
